Footworks Percussive Dance Ensemble

Dubbed "the Bolshoi of barn dancing" by the Washington Post, Footworks Percussive Dance Ensemble makes a rare hometown appearance at Dance Place performing their acclaimed repertoire of percussive dances such as clogging, Irish and Canadian stepdancing, tap dance and more. This performance features classic choreography from Founding and Artistic Director, Eileen Carson Schatz; original, innovative pieces choreographed by Footworks' stunning group of dancers and a rousing array of musicians celebrated in Americana music, led by award-winning acoustic bassist and Footworks' Musical Director, Mark Schatz.
