1:30pm - DC Casineros
This dance form mixes African and European dance influences through music and dance fusions that are the roots of Salsa; so partner up and learn to salsa to rhythmic beats with Cuban flare. Taught by Amanda Gill.
2:30pm - Jayantika Dance Company
Odissi is one of the classical dance forms of India, and originates from the state of Orissa, in eastern India. Learn how Odissi dancers tell stories through gesture and try it out yourself in this introduction to Odissi classical Indian dance. Taught by Jayantee Paine-Ganguly.
