Tehreema Mitha Dance Company

In, Classical and Contemporary, A South Asian American Dance Company, choreographer Tehreema Mitha brings a highly athletic and theatrical style with especially produced music, collaborating with both Indian and Western Classical musicians.

Based in Classical Indian Dance, Tehreema Mitha Dance Company brings centuries old technique into the present with a new approach to thematic material and exciting multi-layered choreography. Contemporary style, while distinctly different yet still earth-based, incorporates modern day issues and breaks away in movement from the structures of classical subtleties. TMDC reflects the diversity of the U.S., while retaining its South Asian flavor.
