Adult Classes – Terms and Conditions
What happens if you miss your class one week, or if Dance Place has to cancel your class one week? During the semester, you are able to make up any class dates that you missed, or any class dates that get canceled by Dance Place or by your instructor, by taking any other adult dance class offered at Dance Place. You have until the end of the semester you are registered for to make up missed or canceled classes. Past this time, there can be no more make-ups; also, there can be no transfers of your registration payment—the payment is valid for you only, for the semester you registered for only.
To make up a class: Choose any of the adult ongoing classes on the Dance Place class schedule to use for your make-up class. When you arrive at the make-up class you have selected, simply ask the studio manager at the front desk for a make-up class coupon, fill it out and hand it right back to the studio manager. (On this coupon you will just need to write your name, the date you missed a class, and the date you are using as a make up class.) Then the studio manager will sign you in for your makeup class by writing your name and “make-up class” on the sign in sheet of the class you are using as a make up.
What about refunds? Dance Place regrets that we cannot offer full refunds for adult class registration under any circumstances. Please make up your missed classes within the semester. If you cannot make up your missed classes, you may be eligible for a partial refund (see explanation below), but Dance Place will retain an administrative fee as follows:
If you are registered for: 1 class per week $25/ 2 classes per week $50/ 3 classes per week $75
Partial refund policy: once the end of a month has passed, you are no longer eligible for any refund amount for that month. Example: you realize on February 1st that you haven’t been making it to class like you thought you would, so you ask for a refund of your registration payment; you will not receive back any money for the January classes you missed. You may qualify for a refund for the classes that remain in the semester, minus the above administrative fee. Once a semester has ended, you are no longer eligible for any refund amount, and you may not transfer your registration to another semester or another student.
