For your child to truly grow as a mover, Dance Place strongly
encourages your child to continue participating in the youth program
all year. Please note one session is a short amount of time for
your child to fully grasp the concepts of each dance form.
Children's Scholarships
Dance Place offers a select number of partial scholarships to
children ages 3 - 13, with a special preference given to children
living in Ward 5. To apply for a partial scholarship, mail a letter stating the need for scholarship to Hermione Rhones-Glass, Youth Program Director to 3225 8th Street, NE, Washington, DC 20017. Include in the letter why your child needs a scholarship. A few full scholarships are available to children with an adult family member able to participate in our Work/Study program.
