A Dance Place After School Program for Youth Ages 7-13
Since 1995, the Dance Place Energizers have been learning and giving back to the local community. As with all of Dance Place's Next Generation Youth Programs, the Energizers Boys and Girls Club was created to help our city's youth meet the challenges they face throughout childhood and adolescence. Our programs help children and teens grow, learn, have fun, stay healthy and make new friends.
Activities include lessons in life skills, arts & crafts, computer literacy, reading, writing, math, community service and more.
The Energizers Boys & Girls Club enhances the lives of children and helps them become responsible, creative and healthy adults. Graduates have gone on to finish high school, graduate college and create their own business. Taught by Dance Place's dedicated youth leadership staff, college students and Dance Place interns.
