At Dance Place we ensure that everyone, of all ages and backgrounds can experience the arts! Our scholarships for dance classes and FREE community programs provide up close and personal experiences with dance and music.
Children and teens in our Energizers programs study year-round in afterschool arts and academics followed by a summer-filled performing arts intensive. Adults fulfill their dreams of dancing with unlimited classes in our Work/Study program.
Our Art on 8th free, interactive dance and music performances here in Brookland/Edgewood bring families and neighbors together. Family Series performances encourage young people to experience the magic of the theater with free tickets. OutReach performances and classes provide students with performing arts experiences in the classroom and community throughout the DC Metro area.
