SUMMARY:Ben Levine / Extreme Lengths
DESCRIPTION:Friday\, September 6 at 7pm\nSaturday\, September 7 at 2pm & 7pm\nSunday\, September 8 at 2pm & 7pm\nSadie Leigh at Dance Place’s MOMENTUM Gala. Photo by Jonathan Hsu \nProduced by technical mastermind Ben Levine\, I made this dance and nobody cares but you is a series of performances experienced by a single audience member at a time. Audiences get up close and personal with dancers and designers through unexpected lenses – in a single-seat proscenium\, through a peephole\, within a crowded field of dancers and more. Under Levine’s direction\, a team of designers and movement artists collaborate to assemble a unique audience experience not possible in a traditional theater or museum setting. This technology-driven\, movement-based performance tips the traditional balance between design and dance\, centering the technical aspects of theater as the primary focus while shaping movement around the designers’ vision.  \nBuy Tickets >> \n \nHeader photo by Jonathan Hsu. Technical Residency for Ben Levine / Extreme Lengths is supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts. \nTickets\n$35 Admission (includes one (1) drink ticket)\n \nBuy Tickets >>
