Rooted in themes of relationships\, community\, and the power of institution\, chitra.MOVES utilizes immersive storytelling and multidisciplinary elements to create meaningful connection and transformation within her audiences. chitra.MOVES is thrilled to bring Village Stories to our homebase\, Dance Place. Village Stories is an evolving dance work exploring how we activate our tapestries of care in times of turbulence and transformation. This iteration deepens the piece through ongoing story circles and community narratives\, weaving lived experiences into choreography that reflects what feels most urgent now—guiding how we navigate uncertainty\, build connection\, and cultivate belonging. Themes include transitions\, grief and isolation\, caregiving\, and fierce protection. Through this work\, we ask: How do communities step in to protect one another\, and how do we find strength in shared rhythms and stories? Blending movement foundations from Bharatanatyam\, folk and hip hop\, the performance honors tradition and innovation\, memory and presence—inviting audiences to reflect on their own circles of care and how to activate and sustain them. 						\n				\n				\n				\n							\n					\n						\n									PURCHASE TICKETS
