Use our flexible ClassPass for any Dance Place class within a three-month period. Attend any class that fits your schedule.
- 10ClassPass: $120 for 10 classes
- 5ClassPass: $65 for 5 classes
- Pro/MemberPass: $100 for 10 classes (These passes are available to current Dance Place Members or dance professionals.)
2. DROP-IN ANYTIME FOR A SINGLE CLASS:
- $10 (weekdays) or $15 (evenings and weekends)
- First time students pay for one drop in class and your next class is FREE!
- Seniors (55+) and college students drop in for $12 per class.
3. WORK / STUDY:

Explore the richness of African Dance traditions from Guinea, Mali and Senegal.
Learn the history, movement and rhythm of traditional Yoruba and Orisha dances. For all levels.
Enhance your balance, weight shifting and range of movement through a unique blend of ballet warm up and Laban Space Harmony.
Learn a variety of urban dance styles, including popping, locking and house, taught by a rotating team of renowned guest instructors.
An enjoyable fusion of jazz, modern and ballet techniques danced to a spectrum of music from jazz and R&B to house music and Broadway tunes.
Experience a wide range of dance and movement techniques including Laban/Bartinieff, Horton, Social Dance and Yoga, using floorwork, gesture phrases and combinations.
MOVE ON DANCE:
Experienced dancers can enjoy fun, gentle dance technique with movement exploration, grounded in Laban Movement Analysis.
REPERTORY & PERFORMANCE AND FIELDWORK:
Culminate in public performances at Dance Place. See separate registration forms for class descriptions and performance dates.
Learn the social dance Rueda de Casino and other Cuban dance forms. The classes use popular music including Son, Songo, Changui and Timba.
Fun fitness workout based on Latin dance moves. Getting in shape never felt so much like a party!
