Vaccination Policy: Students under the age of 18 are not required to be vaccinated to take classes at Dance Place

We recommend novice students or students with only one year of experience in a style to start with the beginning level. Students with two or more full years of experience can try the intermediate level. Fall Tuition Rates

We are offering families pay-what-you-can options for all Kids on the Move classes. Each payment option represents the price of one class per week for the entire semester.

Option 1: $500

Class Descriptions

Ballet exercises including barre work, center work, and across the floor combinations, combined with creative lessons in rhythm, coordination, balance.

This class uses movement activities and creative play to develop students’ motor skills, spatial awareness, movement quality, sense of rhythm, coordination, and balance. 

Hip-Hop focuses on various hip-hop techniques including popping, locking, and house elements.

This class provides an introduction for young students and one accompanying adult to movement and dance. Using singing, props, and the help of their adults, students develop their basic motor skills, coordination, and self-expression. 

This class introduces students to contemporary dance techniques founded in various styles including Jazz, Modern, Ballet, and African dance.

This class introduces students to the fundamentals of tap dance. Students will learn tap terminology while working on the embodiment of rhythm, coordination, and musicality. 

This class focuses on basic gymnastic movement and flexibility, working on mats and the mini-trampoline. 

This class introduces students to both the elements of ballet and the fundamentals of tap dance.

This class is an upbeat, stylish and versatile dance form. This technical class includes a warm-up, across the floor movements, leaps, turns and center combination work to fun and upbeat music. 

This class focuses on modern and contemporary dance technique including gestural and pedestrian movements, floor work, across the floor and choreography.
