chitra.MOVES is thrilled to bring Village Stories to our homebase, Dance Place.

Village Stories is an evolving dance work exploring how we activate our tapestries of care in times of turbulence and transformation. Bringing together the movement traditions of Bharatanatyam, folk, and hip hop culture, the work asks: how do communities step in to protect one another, and how do we find strength in shared rhythms and stories? Audiences are invited to reflect on their own circles of care — and how to activate and sustain them.
