Haley Combs is a graduate of The Ailey/Fordham BFA program where she completed a dual degree in Dance and Theology. She is an alumna of The School at Jacob’s Pillow and Earl Mosley’s Institute for the Arts. At the Holland Dance Festival in 2020 she presented her own choreography and performed work by William Forsythe. She has worked with artists such as Ohad Naharin, Francesca Harper, Shannon Gillen, Sidra Bell, Yusha-Marie Sorzano, Gabrielle Lamb and others at various workshops and intensives. Haley danced as a company artist with UNA Productions and Smashworks Dance in NYC and was a guest artist with Boston Dance Theater for their residency with the Goethe Institute in 2019. She currently works on faculty at CityDance inspiring joy and tenacity in dancers of all ages.
In addition to her work as a dance artist, Haley serves as the Ministry Coordinator for Grace Mosaic, a cross-cultural congregation in Northeast DC. She also served as a Spiritual Life Advisor at New York University for three years, mentoring and caring for college students. Haley’s approach to dancing and all of her endeavors is interwoven with a deep commitment to joy, curiosity, and compassion.
