May 26 – 30, 2025
The Dulling Effect is a bold performance, conceived and choreographed by former Dance Place Executive Artistic Director Christopher K. Morgan. It challenges the audience to consider the ways in which technology, legislation, and societal norms can dull our sense of connection to one another and to ourselves. At the same time, it offers a vision of what can happen when we resist those forces—when we embrace diversity, celebrate individuality, and reclaim our right to express our true selves.
On Friday, May 30 at 6 PM, join Dance Place for an informal showing The Dulling Effect, followed by a reception.
This presentation is supported by the Carla Fund for Choreography and Performance, established by the Howard and Geraldine Polinger Family Foundation.
